Fox News and National Geographic and Discover have reported that U.S. and Filipino scientists have announced the discovery a new species, which they have dubbed the “squidworm.”
In 2000, three previously unknown species of mouse lemurs, the world’s smallest primates, were discovered on the island of Madagascar by an international team of scientists.
This new species of limbless amphibian is said to resemble a slimy earthworm with jaws, teeth and sometimes scales!
