“Where are you located?”

“Is Onionhead's Revenge cashless?”

Yes, Onionhead's Revenge is a cashless event. We only accept electronic forms of payment, such as credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment methods.

“Where is the best place to park?” 

Convenient and free parking is located throughout the East Ramp at Mall of America. Floors P2, Georgia and P3, Indiana both have direct entry to the Onionhead’s Revenge skyway.  For handicapped guests and those with limited mobility, follow the ADA signage to accessible entry through the mall. 

“Can I bring my backpack or other large items?”

Do not bring backpacks, suitcases, large coats or bags.  There are lockers of all sizes in the mall on East levels 1, 2, & 3, and South level 1.

How long is the wait in line?” 

Line wait times are dependent on the popularity of the time slot and ticket chosen. Waiting in the GA queue can be bypassed by purchasing a Fast Pass which will allow access to the expedited line. 

 “Can I wear my Halloween costume to the haunt?”

Yes, you are welcome to wear your costume to the haunt. However, masks and elaborate makeup are not allowed for safety purposes. Inappropriate costumes that involve offensive imagery or nudity will not be allowed in and all props must be checked in at the concierge desk prior to entry.

Note: please avoid costumes or footwear that may become a hazard while moving through confined spaces.

“Do you serve alcoholic beverages?”

Yes!  For guests 21 and over, drinks can be redeemed and/or purchased at Vern’s Moonshine Bar near the entrance of the haunt. No outside beverages are allowed, and we reserve the right to not serve and/or remove guests who become too intoxicated or disruptive.

 “Do you serve non-alcoholic beverages?”

Yes! We offer a variety of non-alcoholic beverages including mocktails, sodas and water. Guests can purchase these refreshments at The Filling Station as well as Vern’s Moonshine Bar.

“Are we allowed to touch the actors?”

No, and the actors will not grab or hit you, though they may accidentally bump into you.  We are here to foster a safe environment for the guests as well as our scare actors. If you are attempting to touch and interact with the actors in an unsuitable way, we reserve the right to remove you from the haunt and prosecute should the situation warrant it.

“What if my question isn’t answered here?”

TICKETING

“Do I need to print a ticket?” 

A digital ticket with a QR code was emailed upon purchase, please have your digital ticket printed or readily available prior to admission. Please have 21+ ID ready with Monster Pass Admission.

 Can I reschedule my ticket? 

Yes, we understand that plans change and we like to accommodate our guests.  Please email info@americanmonsters.com from the email address used to book your reservation with the requested date and time slot. We require at least 36 hours’ notice from the original ticket date to process a change.

NOTE: We are unable to accept expired tickets for a future time slot, so ticket changes must be made PRIOR to the originally scheduled date. 

 “What are the differences between ticket types?” 

General Admission: The most cost-effective way to experience Onionhead’s Revenge. Pick a date and time slot, pay through the site and you’ll receive a confirmation email with digital ticket(s). 

Fast Pass: For those who crave an elevated scare and want to chop the line, Fast Pass tickets are the way to go. Select Fast Pass, pick a time and date, pay through the site and you’ll receive a confirmation email with digital ticket(s), then skip GA upon arrival. There is limited availability — terms apply.

Monster Pass: Want to discover the full Onionhead story, meet new characters, get exclusive access to hidden spine-chilling rooms, and receive two complimentary drinks? Then the Monster Pass is for you. Select Monster Pass, pick a time and date, pay thru the site and you’ll receive a confirmation email with digital ticket(s). Check in with the Ticket Booth upon arrival and begin your exclusive night of horror. There is a limited availability of Monster Pass tickets.

Monster Pass Update - August 5: Due to popular demand, the Monster Pass experience has been expanded and can be purchased by guests under the age of 21. Those under the age of 21 will receive 2 non-alcoholic drinks instead of the 2 alcoholic drinks included with the Monster Pass.

“How many times can I go through the haunt?” 

One ticket = one trip through the haunt. If you’d like to experience the haunt a second time, an additional ticket is required. Of course, Vern’s Moonshine Bar and Gift Shop are always open so stop in for the drinks and indulge in the merch!

“Can I get a refund?”  

 Sorry, there are no refunds for any reason unless you have added Purchase Protection* to your order. We do not offer refunds for children or adults that are too scared to go through or exit the haunt early. 

*By adding Purchase Protection when you place your order, you will be able to receive a refund of your unscanned Tickets (excluding ticket service fees and protection fee) if you are prevented from attending the event and are unable to reschedule to attend another night.  

*NOT APPLICABLE to Promotional Tickets or Trade Tickets. Protection only applies to unused tickets that you have purchased*

“When I arrive, can I still purchase tickets online?” 

Yes! Tickets will be available upon arrival at Onionhead’s Revenge. However, it is NOT RECOMMENDED as the date or time slot you want could be sold out. Buy Now to Save Time!

DISCOUNTS & COUPONS

“Are there any group discounts?”

Yes. Group discounts are available and depend upon your group size and night of attendance.  Please email info@americanmonsters.com to inquire and allow at least 36 hours for response.

“Are there discounted nights?”   

Yes!  On August 1, 2023 we will be offering Half-off Presale Tickets for Opening Weekend (9/15, 9/16),  limited quantities available.

“Are there military discounts?”

Yes. We proudly support all service branches and thank you for your service! For a military discount please write to info@americanmonsters.com to receive your code, and be prepared to bring show your valid military ID at the door.

“Are there discounts for MOA Insiders?”

Yes!  Be sure to monitor your Mall of America emails and check in on the app to stay up to date with new events and promotions!

AGE, HEALTH & OTHER RESTRICTIONS

“Are there age restrictions?”

Onionhead’s Revenge is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Infants in strollers or children carried by adults will not be permitted to enter. All children must be able to walk through the event themselves and are not allowed to be carried. Children wishing to participate will be required to purchase a ticket. Should they get too scared to complete the haunt, emergency exits are located throughout the structure. Refunds will NOT be provided should this occur.

“Are there any health or guest safety restrictions?”

Yes, they are as follows: No pregnant women. No infants or children being carried will be allowed entry. This attraction is also not recommended for people with heart conditions, prone to seizures, or are in general poor health. We reserve the right to deny entry due to safety restrictions.

“I have asthma. Should I still attend?”

It is not recommended that people with asthma attend Onionhead’s Revenge. If you feel confident that you can sustain a jog under stress then attendance is at your discretion. We recommend contacting a health care professional for consultation prior to booking tickets.

“I have a heart condition. I am prone to seizures. Should I still attend?”

Onionhead’s Revenge is a state-of-the-art haunt so expect smoke, strobe lights and special effects. Please use caution if you, or members of your party, have a heart condition or are prone to seizures. Contact your health care provider if you are unsure of your personal health risk.

“Are dogs permitted to enter the haunt?”

Yes, service dogs are allowed.  Per ADA website, “Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.” *NO EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED.* Only ADA approved service animals are permitted. 

“Is Onionhead’s Revenge accessible?”

Yes! Onionhead’s Revenge is open to handicapped and impaired guests. We are ADA compliant and aim to create a welcoming experience for all guests.

“Are there items that are NOT ALLOWED in the haunt?”

Yes, our list of banned items includes but is not limited to:

Skateboards, Backpacks, Large Bags, Pets, Weapons, Props, Outside Alcohol, Cameras, Cigarettes, Cigars, Vapes, Laser Pointers, Flashlights, Food or Beverage, Babies, Strollers or Children being carried.

*This is NOT an exhaustive list, and personal judgment is required, or you may risk your reservation

“Will Onionhead’s Revenge be dark?”

Yes, the majority of the haunt is dimly lit and some rooms may not have an identifiable light source whatsoever.     

However, the Haunt is designed in such a way that all hazards and pathways will be visible.
